Townlands Carnival 2015 is a brand new 3 day festival in Macroom, Cork running from 10th -12th July. The festival will be celebrating Irish music, arts and culture with a diverse range of acts, stages and events catering for all tastes.

There will be a main stage with a variety of acoustic and uplifting folk tunes with a dance tent catering for the more hedonistic persuasions. The aim is to attract the best up and coming and established Irish acts with a healthy mix of eclectic international artists to boot.

The location is a real jewel in the crown, set in countryside near Macroom, Co. Cork in Rusheen Farm estate. This charming area includes walled gardens, ancient woodlands, with lakes and trees providing a feast for the eyes in keeping with all the stimulation for the ears that will be on show on the various stages.

The entertainment is by no means confined to music. There will be a huge array of innovative artists from all walks of live, circus acts, workshops and an area specifically for families with young children who will be made feel very much welcome and part of the overall spirit of inclusiveness and positivity that the inaugural Townlands Carnival promises to present.
