This year the Fresh Film Festival celebrates its 20th year showcasing the best and exciting films that young filmmakers have to offer. The Junior film competition is one of the festival highlights.
Fresh is dedicated to encouraging young filmmakers throughout their journey into celluloid. From first time filmmakers to debut feature makers, Fresh supports the next generation of Irish filmmakers, the Junior Final marks an important starting point in this creative journey.
The Fresh junior finals is a half day of screenings of junior short films followed by the presentation of the awards.
IRELANDS JUNIOR YOUNG FILMMAKER OF THE YEAR AWARD
Prizes are awarded by our jury of industry professionals, young filmmakers, previous winners and educators.
All winners receive a specially commissioned one off plaque and goody bag.

Tickets to this event are free and can be booked by clicking the green register button at the top of the page. All tickets are sold on a first come first served basis. Fresh is not responsible for booking seats for any of it's events. Please take the time book seats, even provisionally, as once this event is sold out that is it.
