Saturday 26th December: Gates open at 10:30am with the first race off at approximately 12:30pm. St. Stephen's Day racing is a tradition in the mid-west so make sure you join us for a feast of National Hunt racing to include The Shannon Airport Novice Chase (Grade 2).
Sunday 27th December: The Festival gets underway at 12:30pm with 7 National Hunt races on the card to include The Tim Duggan Memorial Handicap Chase (Grade B).
Monday 28th December: The penultimate day of the Shannon Airport Christmas Racing Festival is Sporting Limerick Day. This is a very exciting initiative which aims to support local clubs and bring the entire community together to celebrate and showcase the calibre of sporting talent which Limerick is famous for. Get involved and support your local club by purchasing tickets directly from the participating clubs and help them to raise vital funds on December 28th. The feature race of the day is the Irish Independent Listed Sporting Limerick 4yo Hurdle and is sure to unveil yet another exciting recruit to the elite of the equine hurdling ranks.
Tuesday 29th December: Festival is Family Fun Day with great value family tickets available to include lunch for a family of four. Don't miss the indoor Greenmount Grotto where there will be a host of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy! The feature race on the card is Grade 2 Doran’s Pride Novice Hurdle.
