Limerick Panto Society will stage their 31st annual production Goldilocks……the Circus Panto at the Lime Tree Theatre from Sunday December 27th 2015 to Sunday January 3rd 2016.
The group will be busy rehearsing from late September and the cast and crew are looking forward to the opening performance on December 27th @ 12noon.
This year’s story line is based broadly on the children’s classic Goldilocks and the Three Bears although there will be a circus feel right through the production.
Emma O’Driscoll presenter on Children’s TV for RTE has appeared many times with the group – including her fantastic performance as Tinker Bell in Peter Pan and last year playing the role of Cinderella.
The Society is delighted to announce that Emma will once again be appearing with the group when she stars in the title role of Goldilocks in this year’s exciting production of Goldilocks – The Circus Panto. Goldilocks was previously performed by the group in January 2008, January 1990 and January 2002 and both shows had exceptional runs with the Goldilocks story proving very popular.
Tim Cusack plays the role of Mrs Headlocks. If previous comic performances by Tim as the classic Dame are maintained then this year’s audiences are in for a big treat.
John Finn has updated his hilarious original script and all is set for auditions in September.
