King John’s Castle has teamed up with the magic maker himself, Franc, to create an amazing Christmas experience for young and old at the beautiful 13th century castle.
In what is set to be one of the most sought after children and family experiences this Christmas, the acclaimed event planner is set to transform the ancient castle into an enchanted medieval Christmas village, and like every good Christmas fairy tale, Franc guarantees it will snow.
Enchanted by Franc is a new immersive two and a half hour Christmas experience to be enjoyed by all the family. The celebration will run from December 3rd to 20th. People can book visit at www.shannonheritage.com/BookNow/ or www.enchantedbyfranc.ie.
Visitors, of all ages, will journey back in time inside the castle walls. You will enter a bustling, snow sprinkled medieval village with characters cooking, singing and preparing for Christmas.
From King John himself to princesses and to the entire castle family, his knights, jesters, cooks, magicians and falconers will encourage you to eat, drink and be merry.
Guests can ramble through the village where many delights await – from story tellers, to bow and arrow making, to the royal chocolate mint, with monks cooking on open fires, the list is endless. There will be a selection of market stalls with all sorts of unique and wonderful options for Christmas shopping as well the opportunity to observe some ancient crafts.
Santa Claus himself will be there and he will tell the boys and girls how he needs their help this Christmas. All the children will receive a magical cuddly husky toy pup. The pup helps Santa pull his sleigh on Christmas night and returns to them on Christmas morning. This is not a traditional Santa experience, Santa will be interacting with the children in a new exciting way, with plenty of opportunities for photographs and selfies.
